I hate her. I bet Oiznop likes her because he believes in and likes things I hate.

Of the 1902 USA beers, lots from local states VA, PA, MD, DC, and DE, plus lots from awesome states CA, CO, WI, and OR. My 2d highest country, Belgium (144) would come in 4th if I ranked US States and Foreign countries together. VA 272 CA 233 CO 170 NY 133 PA 121 MD 99 MO 78 WI 75 MA 70 OR 64 DE 64 MI 59 VT 42 DC 39 TX 36 ME 30

This is almost embarrassing. I can see why MA and DE are high on my States list. I've sampled a range of offerings from Jim Koch and Sammy Calagione. A-B and MillerCoors are more prevalent than I would like to admit... Dave, I have tried 20+ beers from only 10 countries, but have tried 20+ beers from 52 different breweries (hopefully Ommegang and Founders will get there soon too - both at 18), 49 of the 52 American. I too have had too much BMC stuff, but it's still not a big percentage of the total, especially since I rarely return to any of it. Mikkeller 133+ Sam Adams 97 Stone 97 Sierra Nevada 92 Port/Lost Abbey 87 Bruery 70 (more tonight woot woot!) Deschutes 66 Great Basin (local) 65 Rogue 65* MillerCoorsBlueMoon 63 AB.InBev... 59 Silver Peak (local) 57 New Belgium 56 Marin/Moylans 51 FiftyFifty (local) 47 Dogfish Head 43 Firestone Walker 42 New Glarus 42 (all from trades!) Avery 40 Great Divide 37 Brasserie St James (local) 35 Bear Republic 34 Full Sail 34 Widmer 33 Goose Island 32 Elysian 32 Ballast Point 32 Russain River 30 Green Flash 30 Alesmith 29 Drake's 29 Victory 29 Cigar City 28 Evil Twin 27 Lagunitas 27 Brewer's Cabinet (local) 27 Odell 26 Cascade 25 North Coast 25 Nogne O 25 Auburn Alehouse 24 Bells 23 Anchor 23 Mercury 23 Grand Teton 22 Southern Tier 21 Boulevard 21 Boulder 21 Anderson Valley 20 Gordon Biersch 20 Brew It Up (closed, reopening under a new name) 20 Karl Strauss 20

Extrapolating from my stats on another site, the US is far and away in first place. Second place is Belgium with about 10% of my US rates. then Germany, England and Canada follow with about half of the Belgians I have.

Well like most everyone else most of my reviews have come from beers in the USA. I figure that to be normal since this is where I live. And the fact that we probably produce more beer than any other country. And are better at marketing and distribution than any other country. God Bless The USA !
