Yes, I'm a Mac fangirl. Yes, I cried when I found out. [:(]

RIP, indeed - man, I don't know how I'd travel without my iPod.

True Genius. My first computer experience was in a computer class in high school, in 1980-81, we had Apples, some of the very first ones. iPhones, iPods and iPads are phenomenal products, revolutionary. RIP Steve Jobs.

I think it was 1983 when my high school got 2 each Apple IIe. Our typing teacher was tasked to teach us a semester of computer literacy... because it had a keyboard. Damn.

Sad days indeed! Jobs was a great inventor of our time and he will be truly missed by all! A few years back my work just removed our Apple IIe's from the equipment racks. We didn't change them out because they worked for what they where used for. If it's not broke, don't fix it!

They have Apple II a & IIe's in the Smithsonian Museum now along with the old, old floopy discs and even the "newer" 3.5" floppies. My kids were amazed that we were able to do anything with something so primitive... I showed them an abacus also and reminded them that we had one in my grade-school classrooms - and I promise you I'm not all that old, although I feel like it sometimes...[:)]
