Seattle Washington...

Non-Beer Discussion by GEZATRON

Quick! Tell me everything you know about Seattle... I'm going to be there from Wednesday the 22nd until Monday the 27th looking for places to maybe move to... So I wanna know what parts of towns are the best to visit, neighborhoods that are family friendly, etc... We're looking at either Seattle or Olympia & want to visit both, so tell me everything you know. Thanks!

Don't come up here if you need low pollen. All the rain and grass and trees makes it nasty for allergies. If it wasn't for being grey so many months of the year it wouldn't be that bad. From November to February the sun came out maybe 5 times. And I'm not talking about a sunny day, I'm just talking about seeing the sun. That is absolutely ridiculous! Then from February to now it has probably rained all but 10 days. The sunny season starts around the 4th of July LOL.

I was only there for three days last year, so I'm not much help but it was a nice place. I'm sick of the heat - 100-degrees - already this year.

I've had it with the heat and humidity here. I can't breathe & it's turning me into a raging bitch (moreso than usual) so I need to get away from the south.... I love rain & cold, so I think it may be perfect for me... REPLY: Be careful what you wish for!...You may not see the sun for very long periods of time!...Rain, Rain and more Rain...you can have it, brother....[:D][:0][;)]......Good Luck....(everybody wants utopia...got news for ya....No such place exists!)......[:0][:0][:0][:0]......

Much later than your trip but I live just on the Canadian side of the border and head down to Seattle frequently. I love capitol hill. In addition Bottleworks is a awesome beer shop. One more plug for "The Walrus and the Carpenter" awesome oyster bar. If your into the outdoors and are visiting the BC interior give me a shout. Oh and theres great wine in BC and Washington!

Just realised you meant June and not May. Ill think of some more areas for you to check out. Seattle is a great place and polar opposite of the southern states.
