I thought I would let everyone know that we're in the process of weeding through all the databases for duplicate and bogus listings. We're also trying to update each with as much information as possible. At the moment we're working on the Breweries, and I expect to be done in 1-2 weeks. Once that is complete, the styles will be updated because the ones being used now aren't very well organized. Finally, we'll start going through each beer to make sure it's under the right brewery, style and has other correct information. That will probably take months. To prevent problems, we're working on a temporary database for the breweries, so you won't notice any changes until we're done. At that time, the site may have to be shut down for a few hours while I switch the database and transfer over all the beers. It should be well worth the wait! It's our goal to make the site more complete and reliable. In the future we'll be very active in approving all new beers and breweries to be sure that crap doesn't build up like it did before. There are a few of us working on this. Send me a message if you would like to help. I'd prefer only experienced beer drinkers and trusted members.

Seriously though, school's been a bitch this week. I'm working on a 12-page paper and presentation on advertisement in the beer industry for my Mass Communications class right now. All will be calm about midweek, then you can expect to get some more "help" outta me. If breweries are done by then, you can count on me to help with the styles and individual beers.
In Reply To #7 Eastern Connecticut State University in beautiful downtown Willimantic. Sarcasm, it's actually the heroine capital of the U.S. Dan Rather did an expose here about 8 months back for 60 minutes. Anyway, second year student, hoping go to Siebel or UC-Davis after my fourth year here.
The breweries are updated! 274 Duplicates were removed and about 70 bogus ones were deleted. Next we much update the beers. It will take a while! Most brewers have full addresses and a website listed if available. Later I'll be completely changing the layouts of the pages and all this info will become more clear. I don't believe the addresses are displayed at this time.
