Links: Sign Up to Participate:Recognised as the Cotswold's leading micro-brewery, Goffs Brewery was founded in Winchombe by Marcus and Alison Goff, with the aim of establishing a family concern, using a closely-guarded traditional recipe. Marcus's father, master brewer Brian Goff, created the first batch of ‘Jouster' in 1994 – a good honest session bitter which has twice been a finalist in CAMRA's Great British Beer Festival, as well as many other regional awards. Further recognition as ‘Gloucestershire's Champion Best Bitter' in 1999 created a great demand for Goff's ales, which are now available in pubs, inns and hotels throughout the West Country.
