A pale ale fermented with a mixture of "ordinary" beer yeast (saccharomyces), lactobacillus and brettanomyces. With about 75% of the fermentation complete, a boatload of fresh brettanomyces was added and left to finish the fermentation. The beer took more than 2 months to finish fermentation. Afterwards it was bottle conditioned for another 2 months. As the beer contains massive amounts of brettanomyces it’ll keep evolving slowly in the bottle for several years.

Bottled (huge thanks to KimJohansen!). Hazy ambery brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is pleasant sour wood (brett), with some malts, mild caramel as well. Really beautifully balanced. Flavour is sour wood, caramel malts, rather tart with some slight acidic notes. Brutally lovely sour ale.
