BIG SPILL PILS. Our beloved house Pilsner is making a triumphant return this weekend with this flashy new can design. This new batch of Big Spill Pils will be featuring one of our favorite American hop varietals, Mosaic! Brewed with classic German Pils in mind, we utilize 100% Weyermann ® Specialty Malts for the mash and then all Saaz hops during the boil. BSP then gets a sprinkle of Mosaic in the whirlpool & is dry hopped with the same at a modest 0.5lb/bbl during the lagering process. Our goal with this beer is not to make a hop centric Pils, but to complement the subtleties of this style with modern hops which can contribute some new and exciting flavors.

Rated Dec. 2018. Pint can pours with a clear pale gold body that supports a thin bright white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up pils malts and then thin breadiness and melon. The taste delivers smooth sweet pils malts and pear like sweet fruity esters. To midway sweet bread greets vague bitter hops and a melon note. Solid crushable pils.
