After brewing with our buddies at Red Brick at their place, we wanted to return the favor by hosting another collaborative brew. We decided to brew a beer reminiscent of a raspberry sherbet dessert. To mimic those flavors, we brewed a simple base beer composed of Pilsner and wheat malts that was soured with Wrecking Bar’s house lactobacillus. After kettle souring, we fermented this beer with lime juice and over 200 pounds of raspberries. A short conditioning time on lime peel and vanilla beans rounds out this refreshing treat.

Taps opaque raspberry with a thin, pinkish ivory head. Aroma features raspberry, tart and a little sweet. Raspberry dominates the flavor, but allows bits of malt to peek through. Texture offers firm body and lively, sassy fizz. Taste the Rainbro!
