This is a Scottish ale, brewed in honor of Robert Burns (1759-1796) and inspired by Scottish whisky. It is a so-called single-hop ale, where only one type of hops is used for both bitterness and aroma. This ale has a gorgeous mahogany colour, a rich malty tase with a touch of Danish smoked malt and a tad of oak in the aftertaste.

Hazy reddish amber with a large creamy white foam. Caramel, fudge and smoke in the aroma. Smokey and salty flavour with sweet undertones of caramel and red berries. Toasted malts and smoke in the short aftertaste.
