This was a very pleasant red ale, reminds me of their Rural Route Red, with a slightly beefed up hop profile. Pours a slightly murky reddish brown, with a finger of tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel, toffee, brown sugar, citric fruit, lemon grass, and fresh cut grass. There's a lot going on in the aroma for a red ale, and flavor follows suit. Starts with wonderful sweet grain, light toffee and biscuit, follow by a nice assertive bitterness, some citric, with lots of grassy floral hops. Definitely worth a taste, or a growler fill.
