Very good, but I actually prefer the non-barrel aged version a little better. Served in a snifter, comes a very dark brown with red edges and a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet, chocolaty, with strong bourbon and woody notes. Flavor starts with some nice sweetness, chocolate and caramel, then turns a bit dry with oak and bourbon shining through Oak is stronger than the whisky flavors, and dominates the flavor profile. This isn't nearly as hot as I thought it would be, the oak flavor dries it out and the whisky seems a bit subdued. Needless to say, very, very good.
