Pours slightly hazy apricot with a thick and frothy, if not persistent, eggshell head. Aroma delivers a mouth-watering blend of tart and sweet pomme and stonefruit, plus a hint of fresh malt. Flavor features apple, pear, peach, maybe some nectarine, both sweet and tart, plus zesty fresh malt and wine-infused wood. Is that a snipped of hops? Mouthfeel presents good body if only so-so fizz. Had this before on tap at Wild Heaven, and it’s actually better from a bottle.
