Pours opaque sepia with a thick light tan head. Aroma gets to the nostrils from a good 40 cm away, luring in the sour lover with tart apple, bourbon and quality coffee tones. Wood and a snip of vanilla make their presence known as the drinker closes in. Flavor presents tart but not fiercely tart apple and grape, roast coffee, bourbon-infused wood, toasted malt and subtle vanilla tones for a distinctive and enjoyable ale. Firm body features good fizz and a tart fruit, woody and coffee finish. No need for silence - bottoms up!
