Dull winter greys burst into vibrant spring greens, flowers find new blooms and life, every year, comes back to these mountains. Passaflora Blanc was brewed early last fall in anticipation of our favorite season. This bright and sessionable 100% brettanomyces ale spent 9 months in the barrel and then was thoughtfully blended onto passionfruit and hibiscus. Floral, tart, refreshing, and funky.

Pours a hazy golden with a thin eggshell head. Aroma has a strong overtone of butterscotch and a firm yeasty note. Flavor is fruity and - strangely weak. A product of the pour, or a bum batch? Thin texture lacks fizz. Still, I'm glad I gave it a try.
