This variation on our flagship sour, Black Angel, is aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels. After the beer rests in barrels, we then blend in steel tanks with over 2 pounds per gallon of tart Montgomery cherries and copious amounts of Honduran cacao nibs from French Broad Chocolates

Pours coffee brown with a thick though not long lasting tan head. Aroma yields chocolate, roast malt, bourbon and cherry notes. Flavor contributes tart cherry, bourbon, chocolate, roast malt. Texture features fair body and peppy fizz. Everything's better chocolate covered, even angels.
