Next in our Canvas Series is Montmaretto. This Barrel-Aged American Sour undergoes secondary fermentation on a pound-per-gallon of Montmorency Cherries. A portion of this beer was also aged in barrels with almonds to impart an Amaretto character to the final blend.

Pours slightly hazy orange-ambe with a thin eggshell head. Fruity aroma tempts with notes of cherry, appl and banana plus a malty undertone. Flavor presents sour fruit, mainly cherry, plus a little malt and a strong almond hint. Mouthfeel features average body and fizz, but it leaves a distinctive finish of cherry and almond. Go nuts!
