I've tried both the British and American versions and the American version is far better. This version is a cloudy reddish-gold with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, and floral hops. The flavour is mildly malty with a medium bitter finish.

Bottle at The Three Judges, Glasgow. ABV is 3.4%. Amber colour, decent head. Moderate aroma of cellar, dust and caramel. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has toffee and biscuits, with barely acceptable hops in the finish.
