it’s cinnsanity! The addition brings a complementary note of cinnamon to the already present notes of bourbon, cherry and vanilla. This smooth 13.3% ABV brew is warming and balanced with a subtle sweetness and hint of spiciness thanks to the addition of cinnamon.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

12oz bottle, courtesy of markwise, pours with a hazy muddy brown and deep ruby red body that supports a light tan head that has a pinkish hue to it. The aroma belts you in the face with sugar and booze nuanced cinnamon followed by cherry and then light notes of molasses and bourbon. It smells like this may have started out as a cherry cough syrup estery beast where the barrel and cinnamon are added to tone down the massive cherry like esters. The taste begins with sweet cherries and sugar sweetened and booze nuanced bristling cinnamon bigness. To midway its all firm cinnamon still blunted some by the sweetness and cherry candy. Into the finish a modest level of sweet vanilla and bourbon thankfully come to the surface to help break up this mess of a beer. This is nuts.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Taps opaque chocolate with a nice beige head. Aroma delivers cinnamon, roast malt and woody tones. Flavor features roast malt, serious cinnamon, wood and whisky tones - and a wicked alcohol bite. Insane! Smooth mouthfeel offers good body, decent fizz, and a cinnamon finish with fruity and whisky undernotes. Go insane for cinnamon!
