My first taste of Kansas while visiting smalltown Kansas, a gift from my Irish sister. Coppery brown with a light doily afloat and an earthy caramel aroma. The flavor is citrus up front, tart lemon and orange, followed by earthy yeast and a bitter balance. Wet, slightly prickly.

Pours a dark copper, light bubbly foam .. . light bark, nuts, and a fair bitterness .. . firebomb! .. . nicely balanced, and quite well made .. . Pretty good .. . It was murrrrrder, Sam!
