Pours a copper red, small tan tinged head, not a ton of lacing, but then again, most of his beers are a little lacking in retention. The aroma is earthy English hop, toast, caramel, and a light breadiness. A slight whiff of butterscotch. The taste follows the aroma, minus the butterscotch. Very nice earthy hop presence. The mouthfeel is creamy, medium body, finishes clean.
