Wasatch Winterfest is a rich amber ale with caramel malt flavors and a large hop presence. Brewed with the finest Northwestern pale and caramel malts then generously hopped with Columbus and Amarillo hops. Crafted in the spirit and style of the Sierra Nevada Celebration. Inspiration? "This new seasonal was brewed to warm you through the cold winter months! Our Winterfest Ale makes a wonderful compliment to an epic day on the mountain, and the perfect companion around the fire. It’s our toast to Utah."

Nice citrus aromas with caramel and very slight hints of dark fruit, some alcohol as well. Flavor falls a little short of the aromas, grapefruit hop bite, some caramel and alcohol. No fruits though and its a bit thin. Overall an ok brew.

and little david is working that bowtie .. . Pours a deep tan, light foamas! .. . very light spice and molasses, like a Lite xmas ale .. . way to simple and dumbed down, but it'll make you ask dumb questions ...

Bought a 6 of this. Wasatch is new to Wisc, but not new to my tastebuds. Pours a dark mohagny, a little muddy, but buddy is it good! I've had a streak of good beers washed down my gullet lately, this is no exception. Aroma is sweet, caramely, but noticable hops on the nose. Taste is subtle malted, rich and biscuity with an even hop finish.
