A brilliant fuchsia Sour ale brewed with real whole Cranberries and Beets. Made sour with our house strain Lacto and brought to funk using our own Brett strain. Tart, sour, Fruity, and Earthy. A high level of complexity and depth is found in our rather unique souring protocol and cultures. Funky Beets, the mother beer of our sour program. With an equipment mal-function, a bit of faith in the beer gods, and a whole lot of luck, we were able to get a nice sour from an accidental wild fermentation. Since then we were able to isolate that culture, and have been using it ever since!
