La première lager blonde fut inventée en 1842 à Plzen en Bohémie. La ville engagea le maître brasseur bavarois Josef Groll, pour développer une nouvelle bière claire et dorée à une époque où elles étaient principalement foncées ou troubles. Trois ans plus tard, Groll retourna à Munich où il apporta son savoir-faire en Allemagne. Dès lors, ce style de bière conquit le monde. Goût complexe, malté et légèrement caramélisé Amertume franche avec une finale aromatique de houblon Saaz The first blonde lager was invented in 1842 in Plzen in Bohemia. The city hired the Bavarian brew master Josef Groll to develop a new clear and golden beer at a time when they were mostly dark and hazy.
