Can an ale be both rich and flavorful & light and drinkable? Our Irish Red satisfies both parties, with a big chewy malt character and smoothness for days. McLuvin is brewed with an array of imported caramel and roasted malts and a distinctively fruity and aromatic English yeast, and is nitrogen-charged for a creamy texture and beautiful cascading presentation.

I had this on tap recently at the Vintage here in Madison. Pours a bright, clear reddish amber. Lots of carbonation, no head due to an improper pour (sorry!). Taste is slight bready flavor, soft fruity texture, and a faint hint of hops near the finish. Well balanced, pleasent session brew.

Crystal-clear copper and a creamy ochre head. Nitrogen-induced silky texture. A timid malt profile with just enough bitterness to complement. Very smooth and drinkable but too mild and tame to be anything more than a weak session beer, but not a bad one at that.
