Village Gardener Community Minded Ale is a finely crafted nod to all community gardeners. This beer contains hops grown in the backyard tradition. A heap of Tim Duffin's Cascade hops alongside Nugget, Hallertauer, Willamette and more Cascade from our friends in Bridgeland. 100% local malted barley and wheat. A labour of love indeed. Malt: A mix of Alberta two row and wheat give this ale a crisp clean feel as well as a light body. We used only malts produced and processed in Alberta to keep it as local as possible Hops: Nugget for bitterness, heaps of Duffin Cascade for a light orange citrusy flavour. Even more Duffin Cascade yet, combined with Bridgeland Cascade, Willametta, Hallertauer and Nugget to give this ale a brilliant fresh citrus and piney aroma.
