Blonde is a Rye Pilsner brewed with flaked rye. Nice subtle aroma of buttery and toasted malts, aromatic hops, along with some floral, citrus and honey notes. The taste starts crisp with the rye and ends with a nice spicy hop dry finish.

Pours an orangeish blonde colour with a thin weak head. Aroma is pleasent- pears and green apples. Taste is refreshing, clean and fruity. A tastey summertime brew I'd say.

This is quite a good variation of what Viking calls "a fine Northern Pilsner". The body is a hazy yellow, with slight flocculation and the medium head is white and bubbly with fair retention and lacing. A crisp hop and grain nose gives way to light fruit. The mouthfeel is smooth, almost creamy, but light-bodied. Flavors are a good balance of soft malt and light, crisp hops with a hint of apple. A tangy but quite dry finish, no doubt due to the inclusion of some rye in the grain bill.
