Taps clearish mahogany with a nice parchment head. Aroma presents toasty malt, caramel, woody hops. Flavor delivers roasty malt, caramel, subtle piney hops. Texture offers decent body and peppy fizz. Get wee heavy on 90 shillngs.

My favorite Upstream Beer!!! This beer paved the way for me to start drinking highier ABV beers.. Back in the day it was 8.6%. This is a very sweet and highly malty scottish. Very Drinkable and smooth.

Sampled at Upstream. Poured a cloudy purple-brown color with almost no head. Aroma was weak but had a hint of malt to it. Flavor was different, as it had some fig and malt to it, with a cider-like finish. About what I expected for a Scottish Ale from a Nebraska brewpub.
