The third addition to the 1488 range - designed to reflect the original character of the beer which was once produced at the brewery sited here. Tullibardine 1488 Ales are distinctive, their characteristic traits beautifully balanced by a depth and complexity so closely associated with Tullibardine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This truly remarkable Ale is best drunk chilled, perhaps being chased by a dram of your favourite Tullibardine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Lightly colored dull browny gold ok looking white cap floating on top. Powerful stink coming from the beer sourish malts, lots of caramel, whiskey, and peat. Taste is fairly dark and malty, burnt wood some oak, and mild bitterness in the finish. Flavours of random chemicals keep appearing the finish is dominated by ash and apple makes a brief appearance. Bla blab la boring beer that shall never be purchased again.
