Damn, it Feels Good to be a Gangsta', dark and strong American Wild. Heavy in Roast, Chocolate, and Special B malts this beer comes off with a unique and unexpectedly dry profile. Combining two Brettas lends a milder barnyard, but heavily funky character accented by an apparent 'natural cork' flavor. Aging the beer on French oak Barrels and allowing it to properly develop, attenuation is high revealing a light body and notes of astringency. Balance is created by the addition of three special golden ingredients: Honey, Golden Raisins, and Mustard Seed. 8.1% ABV; rare.

Brown pour, wild aroma with lacto and brett, some darker malts and some raisins. Can't really taste the mustard seed per se, but i bet you'd be able to tell if it wasn't there. This is a nice sour porter type brew, with a little added sweetness and complexity. Nicely done.

Dark roasty sour.....usually not my thing, but this one was well done. Amber brown pour thin head and swirly lacing. Tart, dry and funky with a contrasting fruity sweetness. Barnyard and Brett provide a great tangy sensation. Sour fruits galore.

750 ml bottle, bottle 1/13 1337, barrel TBB 1-6. Pours dark amber brown with a very thin fizzy head that quickly almost completely disappears, other than a little constant bubbling from the bottom of the glass.

The aroma is some sweet caramel, tart acidic fruit and funk with a little butyric acid.

The flavor is sweet sugary malts with tart sour fruit and a little funk. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with very low carbonation.

Overall, great name but a not so great sour.
