Our take on this classic Trappist beer style is crisp and dry with a honey-like malt character, pleasant supporting bitterness, and an abundance of traditional Belgian yeast character. Spicy, fruity, and warming, it strikes the perfect balance between strength and drinkability.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear gold copper colored body that supports a lasting bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up clean bread malts, pear and fig esters and then a faint booze and black pepper sensation into the end of the draw. The taste delivers smooth sweet apple to fig like fruity esters that are able to maintain some restraint with the aid of mild bread to cracker like pale maltiness. This is coming across well above the norm for this style. I'm really liking this.
