Total B.S. is a classic 6.9% saison aged on brettanomyces in red wine barrels. For those of you who were present when those three young friends first opened the doors all those years ago, you know you were thinking these guys making it a full year is Total BS. Clearly they saw something in Decatur and understood the changing culture of beer before most, and we’re all lucky they did.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and fairly persistent porcelain head. Aroma features red wine, sour pomme fruit, oak and malt notes. Flavor brings to mind a dry wine, but has enough of malt and hops to show this is beer. Mouthfeel offers fairly firm body and lively fizz. No B.S. at all - but a great one for Brick Store, one of my favorite watering holes.
