Rapturous is the first year round addition from our Sour Asylum series. Matured on fresh raspberry puree and balanced by a pleasing acidity from the lactobacillus strain added to the kettle, this tart and fruit forward sour is one of our brewers’ favorites.

Pours pretty clear golden with a fairly thick pale buff head. Aroma delivers a strong tang of sour apple, almost like brandy, plus a bit of malt. Flavor is more cider-like, tart but sweet, with more malt. Mouthfeel presents good fizz and body. Get raptured.
