‘3’ is a special limited release beer to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. It is a Belgian-style tripel (what else for 3 years) made with pilsner malt and a touch of rye, fermented with our house strain of Belgian yeast and then aged for months in Hess Collection cabernet barrels. The resulting beer is a delicacy with luscious notes of wood and red wine and a lingering dry finish.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Pour copper with a thick and frothy egg shell head. Aroma delivers sumptuous wine, toasted malt, caramel and woody notes plus hints of rye and crisp, tart pomme fruit. Flavor bursts with wine, toasted malt, woody, fruity and subtle caramel tones. Mouthfeel features firm body and plenty of fizz, and exits leaving a fruity and woody finish. Three for Three Taverns - and may there be many more. Many, MANY more!
