Beautiful orange/amber Belgian with the characteristic haze, a bit dark for a tripel though. Aroma is pretty mild overall. Mouthfeel is quite full, over-malted for a tripel. Good hop character but almost more iipa than tripel. Not sure it hits on style but I love the burn, still a strong beer in any case. Thanks Kinger.

pours a very hazy and muddled orange color with a very thin layer of white lacing with fine bubbles that dissipates almost immediately. The aroma is tart and with a little lime. The taste is interesting, consists of citrus but also some tartness and a bit of ??, finishes with a definite alcohol tinge, leaves a kind of nasty taste on the palate. The mouthfeel is medium carbonation, drinks a bit thick, alcohol burn hits midsip and lingers through to the end.

This poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some spices and lemons. Maybe a hint of vanilla. The flavor is pretty much the same with a sweet finish. Pretty standard issue Tripel really but ok.

Initial samples from the Winter Warmer Festival in Cleveland, it's so nice to see Thirsty Dog brewing in oHIo again. A newer offering from this brewery, which is a 10% abv Belgian Tripel. Aroma is exceptionally fruity with prominent banana and citrus notes followed by a sharp peppery spice. Rich golden pour, vibrant when held to the light. Pencil thin white head and some mild spotty lacing. Medium thickness, the mouth feel is easy with a noticeable alcohol bite. Finish is dry with a slight watery quality. Big malty flavor, earthy and fruity (orange and banana) coupled with pepper and coriander. A fresh funkiness adds to the familiar Belgian yeast. It's fresh and still a touch boozy, but it drinks real nice and provides a nice comfort.
