Pours opaque coffee brown with a thick tan head. Looks like a top-rated stout. Aroma delivers tart apple and pear notes riding roast malt and woody tones plus a hint of - bourbon? Flavor presents tart pomme fruit, roast malt, oaken, earthy, and subtle hoppy tones, plus again that elusive bourbon snippet. Firm, smooth mouthfeel offers lively and lasting fizz. Any night "twas" a good time for this one.
