Dark amber in color with notes of treacle, molasses and toffee sweetness that playfully mingle with softened yet rich fruit notes akin to a Banyuls or young fruitier Port. A deep rounded mouthfeel that carries an inviting full finish entices you to have yet another savored sip. Named for Avondale Estates founding in 1924, this Old Ale is the inaugural brew to kick off the ‘Dale Ale Trail. A collaboration between The Lost Druid, Wild Heaven, My Parents’ Basement and The Beer Growler.

Taps opaque chocolate with minimal head. Aroma provides smoky malt, chocolate and toffee tones with a hint of hops. Flavor gives roast malt, smoky, chocolate, toffee and subtle resiny hops. Texture features firm, smooth body and lively fizz. Good olde ale!
