Rub-A-Dub-Dubbel is a delightful Belgian-style brown ale with plenty of bready yeast esters balanced with a nutty, coffee like malt back bone and a dry roasty finish. A new classic.

Sampled on tap at Beer Revolution on 2/19/2012. This dubbel pours a dark brown color from the tap. Small to medium sized tan head. The aroma is caramel, brown sugar, yeasty, dark fruit and sweet. A medium bodied dubbel. The malts are fruity and sweet. raisins, brown sugar and yeasty. The hops are earthy. Decent carbonation. Smooth taste. Nice sweetness throughout. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
