This rating is from a while ago. Pours a rich, barely transparent chocolate brown with a buttery tan head. Malty aroma has strong notes of caramel and chocolate. Flavor fills the mouth with malty, caramel and fruity notes and a hint of chocolate. Firm, fizzy texture completes a very enjoyable beer. Surely worth 80 shillings - or more.
