Towering over Loch Ness and the Great Glen, the stones of Urquhart Castle played silent witness to 800 years of Scottish history. As the walls began to crumble in the 1700s, a new beer style was on the rise in the surrounding countryside: Wee Heavy or Strong Scotch Ale.
