Rated March 2019. 32oz crowler pours with a deep dark body that supports a thin dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an initial hit of dark roasted malts and dark roasted coffee before milk chocolate takes over into the end of the draw. The taste delivers full firm dark roasted malts to dark roasted coffee to almost burnt malts riding above a river of mildly sweet milk chocolate. To midway it picks up a faint chicory sensation. Nice sipper that comes across a little thin in body but thick on flavor.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Pours deep coffee brown with a thick and rather persistent cocoa head. Chocolate grabs the nose from half a meter away, and as you close in, quality coffee, roast malt, molasses and earthy tones make their appearances. Flavor delivers rich roast coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, roast malt, charred hops, an earthy undertone and a hint of molasses. Texture provides fair fizz and body, a bit of a letdown after everything else. Bring out your totalitarian!
