Sure took enough effort to get the *%!#*@ cork out of the bottle, so this had better be worth it! Pours opaque coffee sable with a thick and fairly persistent dark tan head. Aroma delivers bourbon-soaked oak, roast malt, chocolate, and subtle coffee tones. Rich flavor floods the palate with bourbon, woody, roast malt, chocolate, coffee and vanilla notes. Mouthfeel presents heavy and viscous body with good fizz, while finish offers chocolate and woody tones. Fit for Stone’s anniversary, it am!

Yet another fantastic offering from Stone (this is why they are my favorite!). Takes a very very nice base beer and accentuates the bitter chocolate with a sweet vanilla bourbon presence that raises the abv but smooths out the beer. Wish I could get a bottle :(
