This to me is the perfect example of American IPA meets belgian tripel, a mesh tried by many recently. It is bitter, floral hops, beautiful green aroma, slight yeasty fruit and just a hint of biscuit malt. The intense belgian yeast notes are subdued significantly. The floral hop and yeast are about equally balanced on the nose. The malt profile is cracker, biscuit and crystal. The bitterness is both hoppy and drying. The best of both styles with the harshest parts of both brought into a well balanced temprement. Extremely enjoyed, incredibly smooth, complex, but all in the right amount. The Rule of Thirds, one third drying belgian yeast, one third floral american hops, 1 third awesome!
