This beer has a white, smooth and very compact head. Its pale amber colour is very characteristic revealing a distinctive maltiness. It has a rich aroma with a unique combination of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation - very fruity. Secondary fermentation in the bottle gives it a unique aroma due to the presence of yeast. St Feuillien Triple has a very strong and exceptionally lingering taste thanks to its density and its long storage period. Whether served as a refreshing aperitif in summer or savoured during the winter months, the Triple is a connoisseur's beer par excellence

Pours a rich golden colour with heavy carbonation resulting in a big white cap, very long lasting and creating some thick foamy lacing. Aromas of fruity malts with spices over mild Belgian yeast. Alcohol is present, but well blended in here. Apples, oranges with the hops for flavours. Decent bitterness from the grassy notes. Hints of honey and gets hazy at the last pour. A nice Tripel with some stronger peppery hops than usual.

Pours a pretty big frothy white head and has a slightly hazy golden appearance. Excessive carbonation. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, floral and herbal hops. Flavours are mostly yeasty, toasted malts, floral and citrusy hop notes. Orangey hints as well. Has a nice slight tarty finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Pretty good!

The beer pours a hazed straw gold with a half inch foamy snow white cap that lasts throughout. The aroma is honey, yeast, sweet fruits, and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above-average carbonation. The flavour is sweet malt, light pepper notes, citrus, honey, and yeast. -

Hazy light yellow color, nice snow white foam. Soft tast but bitter, something sweet but far in distance. Taste stays with you for quite some time. Good beer.

Delicate, white head with very nice lacing. Spicy, sweet aroma with a good bit of yeastiness to boot. Light golden in color, sweet and warming on the tongue. Hint of white pepper in the finish along with a sweet, candyish aftertaste.

An excellent Belgian tripel, but then, it is from Belgium. A golden-red pour with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty, with sweet malt and floral hops. Flavour has notes of pepper, yeast, and a tad sweet. Overall, it hits the spot.

very good foam profile .. . popped cork and head oozed out .. healthy so far .. . pretty good bitterness level, quite a dryness to it .. . quite drinkable ... easy to drink but quite filling .. 'i know you're MAD and maybe a little scared' .. . a nice tripel that goes down easy but not overly in depth .. try it...

Sampled on 3/5/2009. This abbey triple pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color form a stubby 330ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head with long lasting lacing and nice retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet with hints of coriander and yeast. A medium bodied triple. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots of orange and peach flavors. The hops are floral. Bright yeast, Lively carbonation. There is enough yeast, spice, and carbonation to help balance the malt sweetness. Well balanced. There is some nice complexities in this beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours out in a hazy golden colour with a rich, eruptive, firm white foam. Spicy and yeasty aroma leading to the drier side of the spectrum of fresh Seville oranges, orange-peels, immature Kaiser pears, white pepper, grassy noble hops and all-spice with a sweet firm undertone of English marmalade too balance things out. Full, spicy, fruity and fresh flavour of orange-peels, fresh-baked white bread, white pepper and grassy herbal hops. Medium-bodied with a rather sparkling mouthfeel. Long dryish hoppy finish (for the style) of grass, orange-peels and yeast. My kind of Tripel.

A clear deep golden coloured beer with a large foam white collar on top. Has a fresh hoppy aroma with a touch of fruit. Feels a bit accidic at first. Tastes quite refreshing hoppy and malty and has a sense of alcohol. The aftertaste is very malty and there's this nice warming feeling in the end. [http://www.st-feuillien.com]
