A Dark Sour Beer Aged in Oak Barrels With Raspberries Oh no! We left the raspberries unattended over the weekend and when we returned on Monday, the Mares in the Night somehow wound up all tangled in that red jammy goodness! Try as we might, we could not unjam them from their predicament. Sorry everyone!

375ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a small foamy ochre like coloured appearance but dissipates quickly and leaves a thin bubbly lace. Has a murk amber brownish appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas are fairly dank, raspberries quite pronounced, maybe a little cherry as well, a little bit boozy. Flavours of raspberries are the most noticeable at first, followed by some acidic notes, some oak and yeast, a bit more dark berries. Quite sour in the finish. Good stuff.
