Our brown is an English mild and it features a low alcohol content and light hop usage. Being our least alcoholic beer and one of our least hopped beers, the Bear-Ass Brown is very true to style. It has a light amber hue accentuated by a lacy white head. One notices its clean, crisp malt profile that pleasantly lingers in your mouth and ever-so-slight hints of chocolate, biscuit, and caramel can be detected. High noon is high time to sit down and enjoy one of these tasty session beers. Whether you need a little nerve calmer before you drive over Red Mountain Pass, a little hydration before you hike a 14er, or just a beer before you get back on the train, this style will satisfy your needs without putting you over the edge.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

It pours a dark brown & burnt orange with a splotchy dark-white head and some tabs of lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, light chocolate, hops, citrus, and some spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, coffee, chocolate, orange, bitters, and spices. Very good!
