Taking London alt-pop outfit Banfi's powerful and bittersweet songs to heart, we collaborated with them to create the ultimate bittersweet beer – a powerfully drinkable 3.8% grapefruit sour. The perfectly-balanced brew shares its name with the band themselves, while its refreshing and summery character is defined by its pleasant bitterness courtesy of the zest and juice of 281 grapefruits. No essence or puree here, thank you, just full, fruity and authentic flavour. As well as being local to our Leyton brewery, the band have quickly been picked up by Communion Records (Ben Howard, Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Maccabees). And not content with getting hands on with the brew itself, Banfi launched their beer with a special, intimate show here at the brewery. Crisp, clean and tart this is a limited edition beer not to be missed.
