A smooth malty offering, amber in color, and low on hop bitterness. Beltaine is a festival held every spring with patrons running throught fire and taking some embers home for the hearth.

Dark amber brown body with a filmy tan head and spotty lacing. Great color for a beer with a semi-opaque body. Aromas of dark berries, sweet caramel and toffee coupled with an earthy floral quality. Sampled at a barely chilled temperature which really brought out the smooth creaminess I was anticipating. Medium bodied yet it feels bigger than it is, exceptional mouth feel. Raisins, figs, caramel and molasses accompanied by a hint of milk chocolate and black berries.
