Nice white top, pretty golden yellow color... Not bad appearance at all. Looking nice. And aroma is good either. And taste is as it should be in good old English ale :) Good beer

A really nice english ale. Had this one at room temperature in a small pub on the southcoast. Very nice apperance with a bit of white head and a tart attack. Very nice bitter.

Pale amber. Small bubbly white head. Some sweet aroma of toffee with some stale hop notes. Flat and skunky body with some sweet tones of toffee. Bland finish.

Sample from 500 ml bottle, Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay Organic Ale, ABV 4.5%. Courtesy of Cardinal, Stavanger. Beautiful deep amber colour, low head (the bottle had been open a while, though). Malty aroma with toffee and caramel notes. Mouthfeel has a bit too much carbonation for my taste. Flavour has fairly bitter hops throughout, which dominate whatever maltiness there might be. Fairly dry and "dusty" finish.

Copper coloured, foamy white head. Hoppy aroma with minor hints of roast. Mainly hoppy flavour with hints of caramel. Bitterish aftertaste. Quite ok, but a bit too standard to receive any bonus points.

Bottle. Clear amber colour, with rapidly diminishing, medium off-white head. Sweet, hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavour with a sweet maltiness. Medium body, pretty carbonated. Quite good.
