In the scandalous mist of Mt. Everest, one person dies for every ten that reach the summit. Even the first to conquer it, Mallory & Irvine, died on their descent. We have hand-crafted an extra strong Barley Wine to salute the brave souls that try.

$7 for a 750 ml swingtop of barleywine? True enough (got it from Central City). Poured a slightly hazy copper with not much of a head. Weak aroma, some malt, no alcohol - surprising given the 9% ABV rating. Malty flavour yet not all that sweet and no alcohol burn. Best thing here was the mouthfeel, not buttery but still smooth. Possibly the "lightest" BW I've had.
