A limited edition single batch beer based on a recipe by homebrewer Dave Shea that won the Grand Prize at the 2012 Golden Stag Home Brewing Contest A heaping dose of four different malts and a 3 hour boil produced a complex and luxuriously rich strong ale with a bitter finish. Good now, and brewed to allow flavours to blend and mellow for years to come.

Bomber from Central City. Cloudy pour, rich and dark, nearly ruby in hue. Fluffy beige head, superior lacing. Aroma had not much of anything, odd for a BW, maybe some malt and alcohol, but it was difficult to really get anything out of this one. Bland flavour, maybe malt, maybe alcohol, quite limp, really. At least the mouthfeel was what I expected, buttery smoth. Disappointing overall, given the brewery. I'd thought this would've been better.
